hmmmm.... the link he posted to IAP doesn't come to a Bosch VR - it links to an old style external regulator. Not sure this is the way to go anyway, my voltage off idle is around 13.5 (at the gauge) which is really OK, it's the low rpm voltage that this alternator just doesn't seem to be capable of producing. Newer cars are designed to idle under 700rpm, so they must either gear the pulley differently to get higher alt rpm's, or they're just better technology?
 
That's the same item I came up with (30091) when searching, but that is not adjustable... I have 13.65v whilst driving, with lights on, etc... so not sure I'd want to raise the overall charging rate, I think a higher amperage alternator would make more sense.
