Just curious. A positive comment or two could get me interested. There's a variant of this assembly made from a casting and tubular control arms - from a builder in Croatia - for sale on eBay pretty much al the time. It doesn't come with the coilovers however. Why do you ask?
Is it available?I think what you might enjoy is a copy of Greg Schmidt's Fiat and Abarth Tricks.
Yes, Graham’s car is a closed course car.Am I correct in recalling that this car is used mainly for racing? Any further comments about it would be much appreciated. It seems to me that a reversed eye on the leaf spring would alter the relationship with the upper A Arm and, possibly induce greater negative camber upon compression.
Depends on the model and if it was a road or race car. They went both ways. Thanks, I thought that would be the case. Did 600 and 850 Abarth production cars use the transverse leaf spring?
Do you mean that race cars had the major suspension modification and that road cars did not? Or did it depend of trim level, etc...?Depends on the model and if it was a road or race car. They went both ways.
It is Abarth, it was model by model specific.Do you mean that race cars had the major suspension modification and that road cars did not? Or did it depend of trim level, etc...?
