Should it fit my engine?
Redline aircleaner bases spotted...
Howdy Mr Toon:
Been enjoying your reports, and seeing your Fiat world.
All your projects are very nicely done, and nice to see
background of other interesting cars and workspace.
Noticed your aircleaner bases, and thought you might like
to see some options for refinishing the top plates.
Black background, polished raised areas on 128 with dual DCNFs...
Black background, polished ribs, with red to be added to script & logo.
This dual IDF setup is aimed at replacing the single DMTR 34 on my BlackX.
(Unless someone wants to buy this setup...)
Red background, polished raised areas on BlackX single carb.
Baseplate not available for the DMTR, so one was modified to fit.
Woulda prefered it to mount sideways like the dual setups,
but base is too small in that direction.
Hopefully you have the top plates?
If not, I found these on ebay...over a period of years.
And 7 separate purchases to put these setups together.
Also converted from OE longass screws with funky heads
to studs and stainless acorn nuts to secure the top plates.
