Classic case of the X being confused with the TR7, LOL. This was a popular swap for the Triumph.
 
As I saw the initial picture in the listing (exterior shot), and began to read the description, I thought this could be a cool build if properly finished. But that was with the assumption it was a mid-engined layout. Along the lines of what Wayne did (posted by @JimD ). However after seeing more (Miata suspension???, and front engine???) I quickly changed my mind. :rolleyes:

Although it could be a fun drift / burnout / donuts toy. :p Try doing any of that with a traditional X. :D

It has all the hallmarks of an Ian Roussel project.
Every car looks better in flat black.
Still can't figure out what's holding up that motor, seems to be floating in space.
