True Classic
Supposedly (from the manual and online article here) there is a pin that goes in the end of the 3/4 shift rod for final assembly of the shift rod assembly. I have the "footballs" and the rest of the pieces assembled, but I can't find that pin.
Does anyone have more info on what the pin is made from (steel, plastic), if its solid or hollow, and how long it is (so I can make one). What does it do? Can I just leave it out?
I'll try to post some pictures so you know what i mean.
I found a hollow plastic pin by my work bench that I don't recognize, but it doesn't seem like the right piece (i expect steel here).
any help appreciated.
