I compared it with the M7 and the specs are a lot higher. It was just a little bit more expensive, but as you mentioned, it can be used for other things as well.

Looks great in your dash, I like it. 8" is actually bigger than I would have imagined; it's difficult to tell without being able to hold it up to the dash. I'm still undecided what I will do. For now I'm trying to focus on other parts of my build - lots more to do before I get to that point.
