I have considered retrofitting something, not too worried about stock vs not. Easier/quicker to do something OEM though. Any good write ups or pics of a VW swap you know of?? I will dig through the forums now and try and find something. Thanks!

My Vdub radiator install

Hi everybody this is my version on the Volkswagen Scirocco Radiator replacement for the factory Fiat unit .When I first saw the discussion thread on it I thought wow that is so cool but when I noticed that it hung 2 inches lower than the factory radiator Oh that’s no good no disrespect to anyone...

I have an aluminum radiator still brand new in the box that I'm not 100% sure I'm going to use. Let me go check it out at my shop space and I will report back here.

Sciracco Aluminum Rad?

Seen lots of references. What year Sciracco rad fits our car? Sick of repairing 45 year old radiators. Seems pointless when I see sciracco rads all over the interweb for $120 or less. The last aluminum rad I bought had to be repaired out of the box. Marginal quality at best. I simply (and only)...

Those VW rads are like $50. Hard to beat that - and if you review the write ups on it there's evidence they have more cooling capacity than any of the options. ;)
 
Cam, I have one to spare. It's a Bob Grash Aluminum replica that was from his second batch.
