But you gotta admit, how cool would it be to have electric brakes where you can dial in how much "assist" you want and front to back brake bias and how touchy you wan the brake pedal to be.

And then, the battery died in a middle of a curve on a 20 stories high bridge...

Hit the switch for the emergency back up battery. Besides, cars don't run on the battery once the engine is running, it's all about the alternator.
