First car lancia beta coupe yellow. Followed by a white hpe, red beta, blue beta, Grey beta, silver beta, red hpe. Pulled engines at least 40 times. Got to where I could change the timing belt in 16 minutes. Drove the hell out of these cars from 17 years old to about mid twenties. Drove them hard. Broke front motor mounts, cracked subframes, ripped struts out of strut mounts, dislocated lower ball joints, shift linkage, threw a rod once, blew an oil filter o-ring once. Most of the incidents caused by getting airborn imitating rally racing stunts. It was a lot if fun. Receive my associates in automotive technology in Junior College. But I didn't really enjoy that typical nine-to-five workday so I have been painting cars out of my personal residence ever since then. I now own two lancia zagatos,one 77 scorpion, one beta coupe, two 78 x/19's, one 77 spider. Currently trying to resurrect a 78 X.
