Car is not mine but the owner saw me out working on mine. He offered for me to buy it at $1000 as well. If the rust is as minimal as he said it was, could be a good deal. Listed issues are as he said in talking although I haven't seen the car in person.
Also mentioned was a fresh carb cleaning. Definitely a car guy but didn't seem to have the desire for another project car. Issues seem to be the tasks all of us have been through at some point.

If someone is considering but cannot view it I could probably take a look.

Rust looks pretty bad to me. It will need lower quarters, rocker panels, and front hood for sure. I would imagine the lower rear trunk pans are gone as well.
 
Huey, I see it now. I was on my phone with the brightness all the way down ;). That's a shame.

Still worth the $1,000?
 
the rust that is showing isnt bad at all for michigan. I would be interested to see the the shock towers, crossmember and the suspension mounts
