So what kind of dog is that? Sure is a beautiful animal!
Last year when my 8 year old St Bernard Isabelle was sick with cancer and too weak to jump in and out of our SUV, I'd take the passenger seat out of my 79 and put down some blankets and a dog bed to haul her around so she could go to the ballpark where all "her people" were. Man I miss that Dog. RIP "boo"
Now I do the same thing to haul around this guy (Sebastian). I love the look on people's face when he pops his head up at traffic lights.
That was Sophie our Leonberger who died this summer, they were bread in Leonberg Germany. We got some funny stares when we cruised around! We now have a 5 year old male and a year old female.
Hey Tony, I'm glad you posted Bob Martin's mug on XWeb...
I just wish we could get him to join up. His 87X is one of the nicest
ones out there. I also got to enjoy his company at the Brannon's open house.
Yours ain't too shabby either. Love the craftsmanship on the engine.
(and front grill too! )
Enjoyed meeting you and wife at FFO '09
Another one of yours trully... from the "in-between" X years and when wifey and I were living in Colorado... pic was taken somewhere near the continental divide... about 11K - 12K ft altitude... in June...
This is me and my Siberian Husky Mija taken last year, and the second, my X above the San Lorenzo Valley in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Somewhere I have photos from about 20 years ago with my first and second X's ('74 and '76) I'll post them if I find them.
Great thread and great photos everyone!
Hey Rudy- I love the Crater Lake and hood/emblem shots of your X. Great photography!
Rolf.
