Really magnificent X19s. I drove my first one when I was 12 years old. My friend Mark Oliverio owned a 78 which had 4 tip Monza exhaust, Koni dampers, 206/60-13 on the rear and 185/60-13 on the front. Over time he upgraded it to a PBS 1660 stroker kit and custom paint with '74 bumpers. Sadly I don't have a picture of the car. My 1981 X19 was my first autocross car when I went to LeTourneau University and raced in the Red River Region of SCCA. I still have the car. I am restoring it right now. Current daily driver is a low mileage 2015 Abarth 500. All that said, I wanted to add to the great discussion. Jim Susko had sent me a few pictures of his DSP X19 back in 2014. Steve mentioned Jim and his pics include an early version of his car. So worthy of inclusion. Very inspirational.
