FFO 2023

haven't been on the forums for a while and just found out FFO is in New Hampshire. I am thinking about driving up tonight for sat car show. Anyone else going? I have a condo at Attitash if anyone need a room for the night.

Hi Nelson. I finally finished putting my X together today. Terry and I are on our way tonight and hope to see you tomorrow.

Drove to the top of Mt Washington with the group. We were in the clouds up top & there was snow! X was.a trooper going up.

Excellent photo. That's what it's all about. Unfortunately I was unable to attend. Names? Who's who in the photo?
Thanks!
Charlie

Nice to meet you, I hope things with your X get sorted soon.

From the right: Bob Brown, Karl Mead, Pierre Massicotte, Yves Blackburn and Hussien Holland (aka lookforjoe)

I am absolutely terrible with names until I use them with you for a while. Data on the other hand seems to stick pretty much right away. So it is no wonder I am not a particularly extroverted person. Go figure.

Stopped at the Water Wheel for lunch. Came up on a Lancia Monte Carlo & X in Gorham & followed them to Bartlett. Got to the resort around 2. Rain on & off the whole time. Met Karl Mead in the parking lot. Waiting for registration to open.
Was there a Montecarlo there or was it just the silver Scorpion?

As Freak Outs go, this was a wet one and that is just how it goes. I did many drives with Bob Martin in his 500X and I just followed him. The roads were wet and full of curves and in all the years that I have been driving X1/9's (1978) I really have never driven an X in the rain or wet. With great reluctance I drove and was very uncomfortable driving the car as I knew in an instant I could be in trouble sliding somewhere I didn't want to go.
Most of the pictures were taken through the windshield and with wipers on. I never had the X's roof off or turned on the AC while I was at this event.

One mention about a Fiat 500 that had 410,000 jewels epoxied to the body. Time to complete 3 months, it sparkled at night under the street lights.

Sunday was the only day that it was sunny and Bob, Melody and myself just hung out at the pool before we both set out for home on Monday morning. I did put up my drone on Saturday at the show field and will put up some pictures in a bit as well.

Great photo's! Thanks for sharing. I couldn't make it up this year, but hope to see some of you at Tutto Italiano in Boston this year.

Great pics.

It was great to talk with you and a real honor to drive the Abarth X. Amazing car and incredible work.

Someday my driving style will evolve to match what that car is capable of, holy wah! as they say here in Michigan or wicked as a Vermonter would say. :) a whole lot of power right now.

Thanks!

A picture when the rain stopped. There was someone on site asking for Drone information and flying permission. I do have a short video, but the site will not process it due to it being 115K. Sorry.
