Beuatiful day for a ride here in NY.
My Abarth, now being used by my son, and my 82 X1/9. FIAT 1 and FIAT 2 plates.
Missing from pic: My 81 Spider with "FIAT" plate.
This year I went to Horseshoe Curve in Pennsylvania, then motored about the state...1000 miles in all. The car ran perfectly but the muffler I'm using now is too loud for a long trip (14" magna-flow). I think I've suffered permanent hearing loss . Here is a pic of the X at Horseshoe Curve on a rare chilly, cloudy June morning.
Hi Karl, the wheels are Enkei RPF1 14 inchers. Yes, the bumper blocks are off a jeep or cherokee. I got the idea for those from someone on this forum but can't remember who.
Here's the restoration album of my car. Restored her a few years ago in Bangladesh. Toyota 4E-FTE motor w/ an automatic transmission (Installed by the previous owner).
Here is my 1986 Bertone X1/9. Currently, bringing her back to stock from some strange work performed. Really appreciate the previous owner for selling her to me. She starts right up but now needs a total exhaust and new mounts along with a exhaust manifold, intake runners, new injectors and fuel tank with new sending unit. Timing/distributor adjustment (currently 180 out) then mechanically she will be perfect. Then on to the interior.
