Thanks for the kind words, i got the new Dallara replica chassis and the Volumex engine last week so i have some work to do before it is back on the road again!

My 1980 X1/9
Here are pics of my recently purchased X 1/9. I bought it of eBay in March and I love it. Brings back great times and memories, my first car was a 1974 X1/9 and I've always missed it. I love this site have been reading for about a month and have gotten some great info, especially in changing my heater valve control. Hope you enjoy.

Two questions - where do the skinny wrap around bumpers come from, and for bumper deletes - where do these come from for the rear?
One more - where the heck do you get a front spoiler from? Can't find it even listed on Bayless....

My X1/9
Here's my X - picked it up on Sunday night - fixed a bunch of odds & ends, quick buff to get some shine back in the paint...

plus trunk lid lip, both rear wells, etc...
had to repair the pass window regulator..
... cleaned out the switches, and now both work. Still need to repair the delay relay for the courtesy lights & see if the AC is worth fixing, if not I'll pull the AC condensor for the early grille install.
Took the bumpers off after these pics were taken, look better already!
.... Now I 'm just waiting on about $600 worth of bits from Matt, plus new rotors & pads, front wheel bearings, r/s mirror glass, rims.... good job the car was free!
