Here is another k20 swap.

Unless you could build a contoured unit into the fender tip, under the bumper in the stock location seems to make sense,. Perhaps more recessed than the stock early versions?

EDIT: unless you're never going to let this see rain, you really need to add drain holes back in the front lip corners under the hood.

I was only planning on using one side mirror. So mounting the blinkers there would not work for me.

As for the drainage... I intended on putting it in the eyebrow panel before I welded it in. I just totally forgot. On both sides. At least it's symmetrical.

I've got the bumper on so now it's time to start on the front air dam.
I'm going to make one kind of like a stock one but pointed in the center. I want it to match the nose of the car and the bumper. I ruffed out the two main pieces tonight, and they match up pretty good to the shape of the car and each other.

You really don’t want the up facing flange as it will tend to move air over to the sides instead of allowing it to dump back into the radiator opening.

Looks great beyond that. Nice work.

Here is what it looks like now. I am still process. I haven't finished the mounting points yet. Do you still think The upper flange looks too big?
I don't know exactly what the original one looked like on the x19 my car didn't come with one.

The OE front spoiler had an upturn but it wasn’t very tall. The way you have it now looks about right as it matches the flange on the two sides which would support the honeycomb grill.

You might consider making a removable “floor” from the back of the spoiler to the underside of the radiator. By adding a shelf to the back of your spoiler it will help keep air from spilling under the car after it goes through the grill opening.

Nice work, it looks really good. What type of grill do you intend to use? Make your own slatted, OE honeycomb or Home Depot galvanized plaster mesh?

I'm going to make one out of aluminum expanded metal. It looks like a Ferrari 812 grill material.
I like the idea of a floor between the air dam and radiator.

Nice work on the forming, although not OE, it looks appropriate and as you say it matches the form of the body above.

I like the headlight buckets and approach with the bumper. Pretty cool. Will there be lexan covers?

I'm planning on doing lexan covers. But before I do I want to do a heat test on the lights to see how warm they get.

The mounting is complete on the air dam now.

Interesting how the completion of the sharp edged spoiler, your light openings and the replication of the angles now makes the Camaro bumper look rather soft and ill defined.

Wouldn’t take much to make the bottom surface to minimize air spill in front of the radiator.

For the engine cover I did a poor job documenting it with pictures. And have not finished it yet. But I have it close enough to get to the next step.

Yes I don't have any pictures of it finished, or on the car.
